TODAY'S MANISTEE CHARTER FISHING REPORT

5-7  Work continues and the dock has been completed.  The motors are in the boat and should have a trial run and tune in the yard by this weekend with a launch date early next week.  Looks like we should have her in just in time for some spring King fishing. 

4-28  Colder weather has returned slowing progress on the new dock but the motors are now in the boat and will be hooked up tomorrow.  Deck cleaning will be the priority until the weather warms a bit so dock work can begin.  Not much to report for fishing as the high winds the last few days have prevented anyone from getting out. 

4-23   The motors are finished except for a couple of hoses and are scheduled for installation on Saturday.  After that we will get them bolted up and running in the yard next week.  Picked up a bunch of decking from a good friend so the next project will be getting the new dock in shape for the season.  Busy, busy, busy right now which isn't all bad after some very cold months of sitting in the house.  Here is a pic of the boat clean and ready to get power installed.
